My father was a sports fanatic and had me involved in every sport under the sun. Through the years of sports, I learned about lifting weights and running to stay in shape for my athletics. The weight lifting and cardio became something that I truly looked forward to and enjoyed. Learning about and working with the best fitness equipment has been a part of my life since I was young.

I went to college at Southwest Missouri State University and was a personal trainer while attending school.  I then moved to Phoenix, AZ and started my career at HardBodyz J Personal Training. And while I knew fitness was my passion and I loved the industry, I wasn’t content working as a personal trainer, I wanted to help people select the best fitness equipment for their situation, as well as helping professionals design and assemble first-class fitness and recreational centers.

I saw a job opening for Advanced Exercise, the exclusive dealer of Life Fitness and Hammer Strength and immediately called for the interview. I was just a baby (23 yrs old), but I knew I was up for the challenge of outside sales! I some how convinced the Regional Manager, Bob Dicandia, that I could do it. He knew I was young and inexperienced, but he says that he saw the passion and desire that I had. He has become one of my best friends and mentors.

I knew I represented the best product, but it was a challenge to convince people of that since my competition had dominated the market for years. Over the years I have built wonderful relationships with clients, and through a lot of personal attention, many customers have actually become incredible friends! I’ve found this is so important to me: building relationships rather than making the quick sale – something you see a lot in this industry.

I was still working out at the gym casually, but I knew that if I truly wanted to be known as a fitness equipment expert, I should look the part and live the life.  So started serious training as a fitness competitor, and entered my first competition in July 2005 and placed 3rd in my class. I am still competing and plan to take the figure competitions as far as I can go. In 2005 I decided to expand my product line.  I wanted to keep the products that I represent in the recreation market because that is what I know and love!!!

Fitness and recreation equipment isn’t something I just sell, it’s a part of my daily life: I live this stuff, I breathe it and I love it. If that describes someone you’d like on your team in building first-rate fitness and recreation facilities, please call me today at (480) 763-2674 and let’s talk about how I can make your next project a success!
